Some of you may not realize that aside from being a visual artist, I’m also a musician.
I sat down at my parents’ grand piano today…the one I grew up playing. Though I love my electronic Yamaha Clavinova, there’s nothing quite like playing the “real deal”. I love sitting down at the bench and seeing what happens. This song came pouring out of my fingers today. It’s an original composition with a working title of “Remembering”.
Though the title could mean a lot of things – to me, it’s about remembering who we are at our core. We are hopeful, passionate, creative, vulnerable, and loving human beings full of emotion and strength and so much possibility. I hope these 4 minutes remind you of the beauty that is inside you.
